Squeeky's Chicken Spinache (A Recipe)

Do NOT Stab Your Hand or Chop Your Finger!!!

Here's how to make Squeeky's Chicken Spinache. Here is what you need: Boneless skinless chicken breasts, a can or two of Spinach. (I like Popeye's brand)I don't use the chopped spinach, but you can if you want to. You can't MESS THIS RECIPE UP. You also need some garlic and butter and rice. Also basil or Italian Spice which has all kinds of Italian stuff in it, like basil. Also a sharp butcher knife.

Let the chicken breasts thaw out. Hold a chicken breast in your left hand (right hand if you are left handed) and take a butcher knife with the other hand and stab the butcher knife into the chicken breast on one side and make a big hole with the butcher knife inside the chicken breast. Just wiggle the butcher knife around inside the chicken breast. Be careful NOT to STAB YOUR HAND! For fun, you can pretend this is a man you are mad at, like an ex-boyfriend who cheated on you. (LOL!)

Now, open the spinach can, or if it is frozen, open the bag after you make sure it is thawed out. Take the butcher knife and chop up the garlic. Be careful not to CHOP YOUR FINGER! Mix up the spinach, garlic, the spice and butter into a wad. Then take some of it and just cram it into the chicken breast hole.

Do this to all the chicken breasts. THEN, put them all into an electric skillet and add some rice. You can either cook the rice before, or in the electric skillet. Mix the leftover spinach goop into the rice and sprinkle some parsley or celery flakes on top to make it look YUMMY!

Cook it all until it is done. This makes the rice taste French or Italian? like the chicken. It's probably Italian, because of the spice, but I have seen "Crepes Spinache" and "crepes" are French, so who knows for sure?

You can also smear some Italian dressing all over the chicken breast before cooking, BUT DON'T DO THIS BEFORE YOU STAB THE BREASTS! It makes the chicken breast even slipperyer to hold and you can accidentally STAB YOUR HAND easier so BE CAREFUL!

You can also add tomatoes and onions to the whole thing. But DO NOT USE CANNED TOMATOES! They don't taste as good as REAL TOMATOES in this recipe. If you can find them, use ROMA TOMATOES. These are the oval shaped Italian ones. Take the butcher knife and slice the tomatoes and onions into quarters and cook them in the electric skillet that way. It looks more Italian and exotic that way.

Now, when you are ready to eat, the chicken breasts taste good inside and out. That's how you make Squeeky's Chicken Spinache! It really is easy and quick to make, especially if you have an electric skillet.

  1. Thanks for the recipe, Squeeky Girl Reporter. It sounds delicious, but I'm currently not allowed to handle knives or other sharp objects.

  2. Oh. Maybe you could stab the chicken breast with a butter knife? As long as the chicken breast is THAWED OUT ALL THE WAY, it should work. A butcher knife is just easier because you can use to slice and cut up onions and ROMA tomatoes. Plus, some butter knives have the little teethie thingies on them, and you could sort of just SAW INTO the chicken breast.

  3. Can you recommend a good wine pairing? A nice Chablis sounds like it would go good...?

  4. I drink a lot of Franzia White Zinfadel. I read it is the most popular wine in the world and you can buy it a box where you don't have to mess with a corkscrew. You can also cook carrots in it. Corn and potatoes, too.

OH! Hi HST! I hope you like my blog! Did you watch Whiskey Lullaby yet? BTW (which means by the way) It wasn't you I was talking about.

  5. Lucky Me! I dodged a bullet again! When I first did this I had:

BUT DO THIS BEFORE YOU STAB THE BREASTS!

    and it should have been

BUT DON'T DO THIS BEFORE YOU STAB THE BREASTS!

The Italian dressing makes it real hard to hold still and I probably would have got sued by somebody. So two things I have to do:

    1. Proofread better.

    2. Add a warning label to my recipes: DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME! (LOL!)

This has been such a HAPPY WEEK! I got my blog. And other things, too.

  6. Enjoying the blog very much and appreciate the allowance of comments by us manbeast obotians...Proofreading is good but so is stream-of-consciousness first-thought, best-thought writing that can be oh so revealing in a myriad of ways. This can be helped along by consumption of your preferred mind-altering substance, which in your case is the refreshing Franzia White Merlot...Anyhow, yes, please, some more recipes if you would.

  8. Hi HST! Yes I don't mind if you post here AS LONG AS YOU DON'T PRETEND TO BE ME!!!! That is VERY irritating and NOT FAIR!!! Plus, if you had your OWN BLOG, you would know that as the Comment Moderator, which you are on you own blog, you can only see about the first three or four words of what somebody says where you have to accept or reject. But you can see who is it, SO PRETENDING TO BE ME won't work!

Yes, I will put out more recipes, like Pork Chops Paree', (doesn't that sound YUMMY!)but I don't want this to become just a cooking and recipe site. So I have to spread them out a little. You'll just HAVE TO WAIT!

Plus, did you try Squeeky's Chicken Spinache yet? Plus, I don't think they have White Merlot in a box. I am not sure, but once they were out of White Zinfadel, so I bought a box of Pink or Blush? wine. It was good, but not as good as the White Zin (which means White Zinfadel). Now, I try to make sure I always have at least one box in reserve when I go to the store in case they are out.

And did you know you can re-use the bag inside the Franzia box? I save them for a friend of mine who is getting ready for the end of the world. I don't think it will end, I just think we will be living in huts and eating goats. I guess I will need a good GOAT RECIPE (LOL!)

  9. Not sure how I am trying to impersonate you, nor would I want to!
Right, "white zin" how could I make that mistake as Zinfandel is the "American" grape variety, not quite "native born" but then again what is in this country anymore? LOLz...Just remember that Franzia is probably picked, stomped and fermented by illegal aliens. Why do you think it is so cheap??

  10. TO ALL AMERICANS:

Spinache pode ser usado para fazer vinho? Se você ao longo de cozinheiro do frango, ele irá ser duro? O spinache shrivel?

    Means:

Spinache may be used to make wine? If voc along cook of chicken, he will be hard? THE spinache shrivel?

Pedro: I don't think they have Spinach Wine? NO SPINACHE VINHO! You could cook this in wine I guess. Is that what he is asking??? COOK in VINHO SI! Spinache NO shrivel if you WATCH!

Does anybody out there speak Portugeese?

Help. I don't want Pedro stabbing his hand with a butcher knife.

Ter cuidado não trair o seu lado com o carniceiro faca!!!!

(I put in backwards, from English to Portugeese:

Be careful do not stab your hand with the butcher knife.

This is going to take ALL NIGHT! Are there any Americans who can say if I told him right???

Nice try, HST! What, are you JEALOUS of Pedro??? Some people can be nice even they aren't American. It wouldn't hurt you to try to be nice once in a while.

FWIW (which means For What It's Worth), I am working on my second Internet Article where I do all the research. It is going to be SOOOOO INTRIQUING! It might take me a day or two.

Are you missing having me beat you in California this week? Spencer Kornhaber didn't do his "Dr. Taitz Is A Crazy Two-Profession Person" Internet Article this week. Maybe I have finally made my point that it ISN'T FUNNY! I hope so. Sooooo much to do, and soooo little time!

  14. Squeeky, how can you eat chicken breast when almost all commercial chicken comes from FEMALE chickens??? You're participating in the MURDER of FEMALE chickens!!! You should check to make sure you're only eating malebeast chickens.

(LOL!) I wish they did put that on the package! Thank You. I needed to laugh. I was just a Gull E. Bull again by HST. You have to just check out every single thing somebody writes anymore.

I'm just sitting here, drinking a glass of wine and feeling stupid all over. I have to use the pliers to crunch up dog food to make some fresh baby bird food. I keep squeezing my hand skin in the pliers. Ouch! What a night!
