What Bento said didn't make any sense but I figured that was just because he was Portugeese.

He has a friend Pedro who found my blog because it came out in Portugeese somehow. Either that or HST is pulling a trick on me. I am still not 100% sure that isn't what is happening, but I don't want to be rude to two foreigners if he isn't. I would rather be a stupid "Gull E. Bull" again than hurt their feelings, if they are real.

I would feel better if I got a Catholic promise since all the people in Portugal are Catholic.

Maybe I will visit Mexico one of these days, but right now it looks like there must be something wrong or all the Mexicans wouldn't be trying to escape.

Squeeky
Girl ReporterSqueekyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13526929347358296892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5966366807476531152.post-19517013926927349832010-05-11T12:35:45.295-05:002010-05-11T12:35:45.295-05:00Squeeky. I don't know how you translated Bento's post or why he would be posting here from Portugal, but you'd be better off using Bing's translator.

http://www.microsofttranslator.com/

The correct translation or a closer one would be:

"I have never been to Mexico. I think I will not go since it is so polluted."

And you're right. I've spent a lot of time in Mexico City and the air quality is quite poor. It'll make your nose and throat burn.

But taking a trip outside of the city is quite beautiful. Actually, when the polution isn't so bad in Mexico City, it is a nice place to visit. The climate is comfortable and the people are friendly.

FreddyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5966366807476531152.post-81066108927221724852010-05-11T11:41:36.740-05:002010-05-11T11:41:36.740-05:00Bento said:

Plus, they have ATOMIC HYDROGEN! I didn't put EVERY LINK I found into this Internet Article, just a few or it would be SO DEPRESSING nobody would read it!

Here's one that I didn't put in about Mexicans being embalmed alive:

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/04/100428153256.htm

The researchers examined the hearts of 21 young adults, average age 18, who had lived in Mexico City before dying in accidents. Mexico City has some of the worst air pollution in North America and has high concentrations of microscopic pollutants, known as particle pollution, or particulate matter. Particulate matter that is less than 2.5 micrometers wide -- the kind of particle pollutants that are found in smoke and haze -- are more likely to gain entrance to the body than larger particles, which can be filtered out in the nose. Once inside, the particles can travel to various parts of the body, including to the heart, where they can cause damage or disease.

Endotoxins are bits of dead bacteria that can gain entrance to the body by attaching to particulate matter. The bacteria are from a variety of sources, including feces and soil. The bacterial bits that hitchhike on particulate matter are remnants of the bacterial cell wall and are composed of lipopolysaccharides.

This is not even counting what happens to poor little animals like cats, birds, and dogs. The poor Mexicans are just like poor little stray cats. I don't want to make any of the ones who are here have to go back home (since they have already escaped) but just like stray cats, you can't take every single one home or pretty soon you just have WALL TO WALL stray cats.

I have three that I take care of and let me tell you they are a lot of work. I have to get their shots for them, and feed them, and when they come in the house they scratch up the couch(particularly Tandy who I found in the trash can at Radio Shack). I love them, but I sure can't handle any more, plus I have Mobamba the poor little orphan baby blue jay who the cats would eat if they got half a chance.

So, you see, this is a REALLY BAD problem. And if we aren't careful, Mobamba will turn us into a Mexico, too. It all starts with the corruption and our politicians are crooked enough already without Mobamba making it worse.

Squeeky Fromm
Girl ReporterSqueekyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13526929347358296892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5966366807476531152.post-58119761990495022412010-05-10T20:25:29.805-05:002010-05-10T20:25:29.805-05:00We have formaldehyde too, Squeeky--you probably br...We have formaldehyde too, Squeeky--you probably breathed in some today. Formaldehyde is a ubiquitous chemical found in virtually all indoor environments. The major sources which have been reported and publicized include urea-formaldehyde foam insulation (UFFI) and particle board or pressed wood products used in manufacturing of the office furniture bought today. It is used in consumer paper products which have been treated with UF resins, including grocery bags, waxed papers, facial tissues and paper towels. Many common household cleaning agents contain formaldehyde. UF resins are used as stiffeners, wrinkle resisters, water repellents, fire retardants and adhesive binders in floor coverings, carpet backings and permanent-press clothes. Other sources of formaldehyde include heating and cooking fuels like natural gas, kerosene, and cigarette smoke.

Yes Mexico has air pollution and so do we. You talk about seeing mountains--I spent two weeks in LA two years ago and never saw their mountains for the smog.
